Latest - Barrhead Gospel Hall will be open each Sunday at 3:45pm. Tea and refreshments will be served with a short message from the Bible. We extend a warm invitation to all to come and join us. We look forward to seeing you. The mother and toddlers group is on each Tuesday at 9:30am
Welcome :
A warm welcome to our website. The church that meets in Barrhead Gospel Hall is composed of disciples of the Lord Jesus, owning His Lordship. (Rom 10:9), (Col 2:6)
In our "About Us" web page are detailed some of the core teachings we hold as precious. We would be delighted to tell you more if you contact us. Fuller, more in-depth, details of our beliefs can be found in the internal web page, entitled "Statement of Faith and Practice".
Ministry :
As an assembly of believers who own the Lordship of Christ our supreme aim is that with one accord we may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
(Rom 15:5). To this end we seek to worship the Father in spirit and in truth (John 4:24) by gathering each Lord's Day to remember the Lord Jesus (Luke 22:19-20), (Acts 20:7), (1 Cor 11:23-26),
and as part of a holy priesthood, collectively to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:5), (Heb 13:15)
Following the pattern that we believe was set at the beginning of this present age, and as those who have received His word and have been baptised and added to the company of
believers, we endeavour to continue steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine, and fellowship, in the breaking of the bread and the prayers. (Acts 2:42)
We count it a privilege, as disciples who are gathered to the Lord's name (1 Cor 5:4), together to play our part in fulfilling the desire of the Saviour, who commanded "Go
therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptising them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have
commanded you: and lo I am with you always, even unto the end of the age". (Matt 28:19-20)

As those numbered with the assembly meeting in Chappell Street, Barrhead, we have the responsibility and privilege of interceeding for each other, for the Household of the Faith, and for all men. Subjoined are details of some current matters that have been before the church.

2023-08-06 : David and Lauren Sinclair - Please remember to pray for young Isaac who has been diagnosed with muscular dystrophy. Remember David and Lauren and all the family at this time. Also pray for Jude who is only 1yesr old and has not yet been tested.

OutReach :
